Pioneer has been a producer of fine custom invitations and stationery since 1948 and is one of the nation’s best examples of a thriving family operated business. Pioneer Announcements has successfully grown from a small printing office to a nationwide leader in the custom invitation market.

The entire family is in the business and each family member is involved in the day to day running of the operation, as well as setting goals for the future. Each generation has added their own touch; developing large square layered invitations, introducing the use of the finest imported papers available, and installing sophisticated computers and software to increase efficiency and production and exciting innovative techniques such as our exclusive laser cut invitations.

Pioneer Loves the beauty of “old school”

One of our dear friends sent us this great article from the New York Times and we wanted to share it with all of you. Some people think it is okay to send an email invitation, but we, at Pioneer,  believe that a real paper thermographed invitation, received in the mail, and opened with wonder and excitement is still far more sophisticated and classic. We share the belief that those “old school” elements of our culture are what people really want, to touch and feel, and that is what will endure. Pioneer’s Custom Invitation for Congregation Beth Torah

This is another great example of how a beautiful high-end Pioneer invitation sets the tone for an organization’s special event. This invitation package announces the Annual Fundraising event for Congregation Beth Torah, in North Miami Beach, Florida.  Even with a concern for budget, Pioneer was able to design a custom invite worthy of their Annual Dinner Dance. The feedback from the Congregation’s membership has been very positive.

Pioneer’s progress with South Beach Wine and Food

We at Pioneer wanted to show the evolution of our progress developing designs for the Celebrity note cards. There were over 125 Celebrity Chefs and we designed special laser cut note cards for each one. Our first step was to individually design the “artwork” for each Chef and then laser cut each name. Take a look at the photo and you can get a feeling for this phase of our effort.

Pioneer helps out the South Beach Wine & Food Festival

Pioneer is pleased to announce that we have been selected to participate in this year’s Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival.  There are over one hundred celebrities, chefs and culinary personalities attending this year’s World renowned event and Pioneer provided very special note cards for each of them. Using our unique laser cutting process, we did a custom design for each celebrity name; laser cut that design and laminated it to a beautiful linen foldover note card, beautifully boxed for safe keeping.

A Beautiful Placecard display

One of Pioneer’s wonderful Dealers, Joyce Pollakoff Events, in Northfield, Illinois provided this great photo of the placecards displayed at a recent affair. Joyce was excited that all the colors matched the entire decor of the party room. This is a great example of how Pioneer was able to work with our Dealer to create a perfectly coordinated invitation design. Thanks to Phil Goldman of Photographic Design for this great shot.

Pioneer Enjoys our Memphis Visit

Pioneer often likes to report on the number of wonderful affairs that took place on a given weekend that started their celebration with one of our special invitations. Pioneer went even further and stepped it up and on our recent visit to Memphis. We had dinner at Restaurant Iris, with celebrated Chef Kelly English. Our group included our wonderful friend and Dealer Debra, of Something So Write, who designed the wedding invitations for this chef whichPioneer manufactured. Kelly came out to greet us and thanked us for the beautiful invites. We thank him for a wonderful meal!

What makes a Pioneer Custom Invitation
